75% Attendance Calculator
Enter your classes held and attended to see whether you meet the 75% attendance requirement, how many classes you can still miss, or how many you must attend in a row to get back to 75%.
You are above 75%. You can miss up to 10 of the next classes and still be eligible.
Step-by-step solution
- Current attendance = (45 ÷ 50) × 100 = 90%
- To stay at 75%: 45 ÷ (50 + y) ≥ 0.75
- y ≤ 45 ÷ 0.75 − 50 = 10 → you can miss 10 classes

The formula
Attendance % = attended ÷ held × 100. To stay at 75%, you can miss floor(attended ÷ 0.75 − held) more classes. If you are below 75%, attend ceil((0.75 × held − attended) ÷ 0.25) classes in a row. 75% is the requirement set by CBSE for board exams and followed by most Indian universities.
