About CBSE Board Exam 2027
CBSE board exams for Class 10 and Class 12 are held every year from February to early April. Class 10 papers usually finish in March, while Class 12 papers continue into early April because of the larger number of subjects.
CBSE releases a tentative date sheet in the autumn, followed by a final date sheet after schools submit the list of candidates. Always follow the final date sheet and your admit card.
Preparation tips for the days left
- Finish the NCERT textbook for every subject before starting reference books — most board questions are based directly on NCERT.
- Keep the last 3–4 weeks for full sample papers under timed conditions.
- Make sure your attendance stays above 75%; CBSE requires it to appear in the board exams.
